Sophia is an Associate at Preiskel & Co with wide-ranging experience across the firm’s corporate, commercial and competition departments. Sophia’s corporate work focuses on mergers and acquisitions, seed level fundraising and corporate governance matters. Her antitrust advice centres around abuse of dominance cases and influencing/responding to regulatory changes in digital markets. This includes drafting submissions to authorities (Competition and Markets Authority, European Commission and Department of Justice) on behalf of tech players.
Before joining Preiskel & Co, Sophia spent one year working with regulated investment funds as a junior associate in a leading independent business law firm in Luxembourg.
Sophia has a strong academic background, holding an undergraduate BA in Classics from University College London. She passed the BPP University Graduate Diploma in Law and the LPC with commendation.
Sophia is fluent in English, Russian and French.
