Sabina Leshchenko

Sabina Leshchenko is a Ukrainian-qualified lawyer working in the Dispute Resolution team at Preiskel & Co, specialising in litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in multiple jurisdiction commercial disputes and shipping, with extensive experience in regulated sectors such as telecommunications, media, energy, gas, and oil.

Sabina advises clients on complex international commercial disputes, contract negotiation, and representation in arbitration across the UK, the EU, and Ukraine, including proceedings before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA). She is adept at structuring and negotiating international contracts and is heavily involved in the firm’s High Court practice.

Sabina has particular experience arbitrating and litigating telecommunications and interconnection agreements. Her practice encompasses strategic dispute resolution, risk management in international transactions, and advising on contractual and regulatory issues in global trade and services. Sabina regularly assists clients in developing litigation and arbitration strategies, ensuring commercial objectives are aligned with legal outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.

Sabina holds both English and Ukrainian Master’s degrees in International Commercial Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Kyiv National Economics University. Her academic work has mainly focused on international trade and the legal implications of economic sanctions.

Before joining Preiskel & Co, Sabina worked as a Legal Associate at a prestigious law firm in Kyiv, representing major international gas and oil corporations, where she managed complex commercial disputes and advised on high-value transactions across Ukraine, Europe, the UK, and the US.

Sabina is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
