We are delighted to share that Maria Constantin and Xavier Prida of our Film & TV team were credited in the screening of Christmas Karma at the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
Directed by Gurinder Chadha OBE, known internationally for cult classics Bend It Like Beckham and Blinded by the Light (on which our Film & TV team also advised), Christmas Karma is a bold reimagining of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Executive produced by Hannah Leader, the film blends tradition, original music, and poignant social commentary in Chadha’s signature cinematic style.
The ensemble cast features acclaimed actors Eva Longoria, Kunal Nayyar, Hugh Bonneville, Charithra Chandran, and Danny Dyer, alongside Boy George, Pixie Lott, and Billy Porter.
We are proud to have once again supported such a talented director who is an icon for women and immigrant communities and whose work has long shaped the landscape of British independent film.
Our sincere congratulations to Maria and Xavier for their work on this remarkable film now released in theatres.
